The Girl Who Stole an Elephant by Nizrana Farook
Reading at Home
Children will be bringing home a colour coded book based upon their current reading level as well as, a reading for pleasure book they have chosen for themselves from our school library.
We kindly ask for your support in reading regularly with your children at home. Just 10 minutes each day helps build confidence, fluency and deeper understanding, and it makes a real difference to their progress. To help us keep track of their progress could you please ensure their reading records are signed and they will be checked weekly in class by their class teacher.
In Year 4, we are working hard to build a real pleasure for reading. Regular reading at home makes such a difference to children’s confidence and enjoyment.
