At HPS we aim to teach the pupils a range of strategies to help them different with the range of feelings, emotions and behaviours they will face now and in the future.
WHAT IS HAPPENING IN PSHE?
As a school, we follow the KAPOW scheme of work. Pupils learn about how to grow as individuals through the following topics.
WALL OF FAME
Every week, a pupil from each class receives one of our HPS Value Certificates during our Congratulations Assembly. These reward pupils who display our school values and their name gets added to our Wall of Fame in the hall.
HJS PASSPORTS
Each child has an individual HJS Passports which shows our school values. During each term, pupils have to give an example of where they have demonstrated each 'value' in and around school. If they can show each one, they are rewarded with a termly prize of a school pencil, pen or ruler!
